Changelog

Your Content is now one library for everything you save: pages, reading material, notes and snippets live together in a window on your new tab. Filter by type, search everything (Ctrl/⌘+F), sort by last created or last accessed, file things into folders and notebooks, and select several items at once to move, retag or delete them.

Save to Flippy (via a Right click on a page you want to save) got a new card: see a preview of the page you just saved, switch it between Page and Reading, move it to another folder, or jump straight into the library. It closes itself on a countdown that pauses while you hover.

For everything you set as a reading material, flippy will also track the reading progreess and shows a % read pill that turns green when you finish, and reopening an article takes you back to where you stopped.

Get Inspired is completely redesigned, but the idea stays the same. Flippy now comes with an Inspiration Library, a curated list of blogs, podcasts, channels and newsletters. Follow the ones you like and take a tour through them whenever you need a dose of inspiration.

The Todo List got a huge upgrade, a fully refreshed UI/UX with smoother lists, celebrations right on the checkboxes, quick actions, multi-select, and tasks that now show exactly when they were completed.

Meet the Summary, see everything you completed Today, Yesterday, or any day at a glance. Beat your personal completion records and Flippy celebrates them with you

AI Lab now works with Ollama, chat with local models running entirely on your machine, no API key needed. Flippy automatically discovers the models you have installed and lists them alongside the cloud providers.

The Command Wheel is here — right-click anywhere and hold, and a wheel of your tools appears right at your cursor. Slide toward the one you want and release to open it.

Lists for Todos — the same superpower for your tasks. Create lists like Work, Home, or Groceries, switch between them from the selector next to Sort and Group, and drag-reorder within a list without touching the others. Move a task between lists anytime from its row.

Notebooks for Notes — group related notes into notebooks. Pick a notebook from the new selector in the sidebar, and new notes land right in it. The All view shows your notes neatly sectioned per notebook, search still finds everything, and moving a note is one click away in its menu.

Calendar, supercharged — the new tab now ships a full calendar with Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly views. Click any day (or any hour slot in Weekly) to add an event, drag the panel around, snap it to a screen half, and create timed or all-day events with multi-day ranges, duration presets, color tags, and notes.

Event reminders — set per-event reminders (at start, 5m, 10m, 30m, 1h, or 1d before) and an ambient pill quietly surfaces in the top of your new tab as the event approaches. It brightens and pulses as time runs out, switches to a live mm:ss countdown in the last 5 minutes, and shows "Now" while the event is running. Configure a global default in Settings → Calendar.

Images in Notes — paste or drop images straight into the Notes tool. They sync across devices when signed in.

New keyboard shortcuts: press Esc to close the focused tool or any open modal (Settings, Updates, Shortcuts, Background picker), and Space to start/pause the Pomodoro timer when its window is focused.

Bug fixes and better UI/UX for Notes.

Keyboard shortcuts are here! Press Alt/Option + 1–5 to jump to any tool (Pomodoro, Todo, Notes, Calendar, AI Lab), Alt/Option + 0 to close them all, and Alt/Option + / to see the full list any time.

Flippy is now featured in the Chrome Web Store!
