The new-tab page is the most-opened page on your computer.
You'll open it dozens — maybe hundreds — of times today. For most of us, it's a wallpaper, a search bar, or a graveyard of bookmarks. That's a waste.
Flippy started as a simple frustration: why is the page I open most, the page that does least? Why do I tab-switch between ChatGPT, my todo app, my Pomodoro timer, my reading queue, and Google Calendar — when all of those are things I want at the start of work, not in another window?
We built Flippy as the answer. AI Lab with bring-your-own-keys, so you talk to the best models without paying twice. Pomodoro that lives in your favicon so it's visible from any tab. Focus Mode with daily goals, because intent works better than tasks. A content library that resurfaces what you saved, because the act of saving is half the value — the rest is rediscovery.
We care about three things: privacy (your AI keys never touch our servers; we don't track browsing), focus (every feature has to earn its place — no notification spam, no engagement hacks), and aesthetics (a tool you look at this often should reward attention, not punish it).
Flippy is built by a small, opinionated team. The Free plan exists because we believe the new-tab page being productive should be the default — paid plans exist because we want to build this for years and keep our independence.
Make your next new tab count.
Install Flippy in 30 seconds. The next time you open a tab, you'll already be working.
